CyberStrong Product Update: What's New in Release 4.14

Written by Maahnoor Siddiqui | April 22, 2026

What's New in CyberStrong

We're excited to share everything that's new in the latest CyberStrong releases. From expanded questionnaire capabilities to smarter risk reporting and a more intuitive personal work view, this cycle is packed with updates designed to help you work faster and manage risk more effectively. Here's a look at what's new.

Expanded Questionnaire Capabilities

Questionnaires have always been a core part of how teams gather and manage risk information — and we've made them significantly more powerful in 4.14.

You can now edit the recipient on a questionnaire after it's been created, add multiple recipients to a single questionnaire, and configure questionnaire creation directly within a workflow. We've also added the ability to filter controls and control actions when building a question, giving you more precision over how questionnaires are structured.

These updates reduce friction in building and distributing questionnaires and open the door to more sophisticated, automated workflows.

Introducing My Work (formerly My Controls)

We've reimagined your personal work view to better reflect everything you're responsible for on the platform.

My Controls has been renamed to My Work, and the change goes beyond a name. This view now surfaces everything you own or are collaborating on across CyberStrong, not just controls. Whether it's a risk, a finding, an assessment, or a control, My Work gives you a single, unified place to stay on top of your responsibilities.

Navigate Directly to Risks from the Executive Dashboard

The Executive Dashboard just got more actionable. You can now click directly into risks from the dashboard view, enabling faster navigation from high-level visibility to the specific details that drive decision-making.

Weighted Score Average in Risk Reports

Risk reporting in CyberStrong now supports deeper analysis. A weighted score average has been added to risk reports, giving you a more nuanced view of your risk data and helping your team make more informed, defensible decisions.

New Asset Attributes

Three new asset attributes are now available to enrich your asset records:

  • Email
  • Risk Industry
  • Risk Secondary Industry

These additions give you more flexibility in how you categorize and contextualize your assets across the platform.

Asset Group Enhancements

We've made asset groups easier to work with. The asset group info tab has been redesigned for a cleaner, more intuitive experience. And asset groups without an associated questionnaire can now be deleted — removing a previous friction point for teams managing their asset inventories.

Automated Control Score Updates

Control scores are now automatically updated when a remediation project is completed. This keeps your program data accurate and up to date without requiring manual updates, reducing administrative overhead and improving the reliability of your reporting.

Logo Branding on Emails and Forms

Your custom logo now extends beyond the platform itself. With this release, customer-uploaded logos appear on outgoing emails and onboarding forms, giving your CyberStrong environment a consistent, branded experience from end to end.

CyberStrong Platform and Stability Improvements

In addition to the new features above, releases 4.14.1 and 4.14.2 include a series of targeted fixes and improvements:

  • Expanded character limits for risk likelihood and impact fields in NIST 800-30 assessments (now up to 10,000 characters)
  • An expanded option for long likelihood or impact detail text on the view screen
  • Improved external user verification emails that use your organization's logo where available
  • Updated handling for customer-managed Snowflake environments
  • UI improvements to the Central Artifact Repository
  • Restored permissions for assigning owners on assessments, asset groups, risks, controls, and findings
  • Several bug fixes addressing routing issues, report downloads, automation delays, and performance

A Note on Removed Features

As part of this release, CyberInsight has been removed from the platform. The ability to baseline a risk register on an assessment has also been removed.
