NIST Gives Presentation on Proposed Updates to the Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity

The National Institute of Standards and Technology gave a webinar on the proposed updates made in the second draft of version 1.1 Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. Matt Barrett, NIST cybersecurity framework manager,  presented on these changes. Changes detailed handling supply chain management, accounting for authorization on and offline. He aldo delved into appling the framework to various sectors in and outside of traditional critical infrastructure.
