**MSSP** stands for **Managed Security Service Provider**. An MSSP is an outsourced company that monitors and manages an organization’s virtual private networks (VPNs), anti-virus solutions, and other security infrastructure and systems. Managed Security Service Providers deliver ongoing security monitoring and incident response as well as preventative security measures to protect a company from cybercrime.
