Expanded Updates to Continuous Control Automation (CCA)

Previously, CyberStrong users were facing difficulties scaling Continuous Control Automation. Each Assessment required a Query Template to map the telemetry results to the appropriate control framework, and this slowed down the adoption of CCA.

We’ve streamlined and simplified CCA setup and configuration for easier adoption. The new and improved CCA includes:

  1. Pre-mapped telemetry results to framework controls for each integration source.
  2. Updated pre-built integration sources for Qualys Policy Compliance, AWS Config, and Azure Policy.
  3. *New pre-built integration sources coming soon, including Windows Defender, CrowdStrike, Wiz, etc.
  4. A simplified assessment automation setup. Now, users can simply select the integration sources and apply any filters; the scoring will automatically be updated.

Multi-Select Attribute Type

We’ve added a small but useful update to attribute types. Now, in Custom Assets and Attributes, CyberStrong clients can add a new multi-select attribute type that allows them to select one or more values from the list.

Updated Word Reports

CyberStrong now offers the flexibility to edit and review reports in a Word format for better editing capabilities. Our customers and partners needed to update and edit PDF reports from CyberStrong and found some inconsistencies in the PDF formats.

Now, users can access rewritten reports in a Word format for each of the PDF reports. This will allow customers and partners to edit the reports before creating a final PDF.

The following reports have been updated from PRF to Word format:

  • System Security Plan (SSP)
  • Assessment Summary Report
  • CSF Scorecards
  • GDPR Report
  • Vendor Report

Track Risk Trends on the Executive Dashboard

CyberStrong users needed the ability to track how their top risks trended over time. Were they trending up or down?

Now, we’ve added a Risk Trending Chart to the Executive Dashboard for both Inherent Risks and Residual Risks. The trend line tracks your top five risks over time.

Track the financial impact of your top risks, like ransomware, misconfiguration, compromised credentials, and more, with clarity over time. Answer top-of-mind questions like, Where do we stand? And what’s the financial impact?, with confidence.

Note: The Risk Trend Chart is currently limited to your top 5 risks based on Annualized Loss Expectancy (ALE).
