What is an Endpoint Manager?

An endpoint manager is a tool that monitors all the electronic devices that are connected to an organization’s network, such as computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and more. Basically, any IoT device used in the course of business that communicates with the central network is considered an endpoint. IT administrators add users and their various devices to the endpoint manager so they can ensure proper security settings and access.

In addition to the continual increase in the number of IoT devices connected to a company’s network, endpoint management became much more critical during the pandemic because so many employees were working remotely.
