What is a CISO Board Report?

Presented to the board of directors, a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) board report is a detailed summary of an organization’s cybersecurity risks. This cyber security report helps the board understand potential cyber threats so they can proactively approach information security for the company and its clients.

A CISO board report also helps explain why investment in security is vital to an organization’s ultimate success. Typically, a CISO will present a Cybersecurity board report to the CEO and the organization's board.
